I know just enough to be dangerous...

I have training and a continuing interest in criminology.  My life has taken other directions, but I enjoy reading about cases and theory.

The 'Madison Man' is special to me because I took the phone call that gray Thanksgiving Day morning.  After over a decade of being a cold case, he has been idenitifed.  Both he and his family finally have closure.

About Me
Dolores

You have probably figured out by now I am a bit different - always have been. While all of us were impoverished growing up, I thought and acted differently than my friends and have ended up with a life much different than theirs.

I became a grant writer for non-profit housing organizations after graduate school in the early 90's.  I ran job and housing rehabilitation programs and believed that because I grew up poor, I understood the needs and thinking of other disenfranchised people.  This was a very frustrating time for me because the way I saw and experienced the world was once again very different than the people I was trying to help.

After several years of increasing frustration, I left the non-profit world and have spent the past decade working for Fortune 500 companies.  I currently work as a research business analyst and project manager.

I still have ambitions of being a successful writer.  I started out as a writer and hope to finish there.  The circle is sacred to the Lakota and it is sacred to me.  Life and time are not linear, everything moves in circles. Sometimes to reach the end, you need to jump back to the beginning.
